Elana Mann

Elana Mann is an artist who reflects upon different ‘spaces,’ from a physical location, to a community network, to an imagined territory. Through per- formative strategies she is able to adopt alternative roles and to radically embody the social and political aspects of a space. Mann has presented her projects in galleries, museums, buses, senior centers, and street corners all over the world and has published six publications. Mann is a co-founder of the Artist Bailout Collective and the People’s Microphony Camerata as well as part of the collaborative duo Chan & Mann. Mann received a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MFA from California Institute of the Arts. www.elanamann.com
