Exchange Rate: 2008 is an international performance exchange organized by artist Elana Mann in response to the 2008 US presidential elections. The project is sponsored by Trade&Row. A group of thirty-eight artists from sixteen different countries are producing, exchanging and interpreting performance directions related to the election campaign.

Sunday, Oct. 26, 6-8pm: Performance evening hosted by "The Audacity of Desperation" exhibit at Sea and Space Explorations, 4755 York Blvd., LA, CA 90042.

Monday, Oct. 27, 7-9pm: Visiting artist lecture and performance on Exchange Rate: 2008 at the Intermedia Department, California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA.

Tuesday, Nov. 4, 7-10pm: Election night event, featuring performances, installations and live election coverage at Remy's on Temple, 2126 W. Temple St., LA, CA 90026.
